DIY and Home Project Safety
Many of our guides describe practical projects. Tools, materials and home systems can be dangerous if handled incorrectly. Always follow manufacturer instructions and local building regulations, use appropriate protective equipment, and never attempt work involving structural changes, electricity, gas or major plumbing unless you are qualified — hire a licensed professional instead. You are responsible for how you use the information on this site. See our Disclaimer for more detail.
